The case and strap are made of super titanium. A special feature of this Super Titanium model is the automatic movement and the decentralized seconds between “4 and 5 o’clock” – also known as “small seconds”. Citizen has been using titanium, a rarely available raw material, to manufacture watches since 1970. Thanks to their excellent characteristics, watches made from Super Titanium are highly resistant. The Super Titanium used by Citizen is created by using the raw material of pure titanium and Citizen’s own in-house coating technology (Duratect).
